DBC is proudly associated with Baptist Care NT and Foodbank NT and seek to support this vital ministry wherever possible.

Baptist Care NT exists to express God’s love and we aim to do this by meeting people’s needs; whether they be social, emotional, physical or spiritual. We provide provide a range of services including direct food support for struggling individuals and families; programs to encourage self-sufficiency and community development; and advocacy assistance. This is achieved in partnership with the churches where possible, and the wider community, where appropriate.

Foodbank NT is the largest food relief organisation in the Territory. Each week it collects surplus, salvaged and donated foods from producers, manufacturers and retailers, then distributes it to more than 150 charities and community groups. Last year Foodbank distributed enough food to provide more than 400,000 meals for struggling Territorians.
